The development of pop-up book based learning media to improve student learning motivation on the earth’s layer / Chandra Ayu Pitaloka

Abstrak
Based on the results of observations that have been made at SMPN 3 Malang it can be seen that most students have difficulty understanding abstract science material one of which is the topic of the Earth s Layer. In addition due to the pandemic the learning media used are limited so that it makes students feel bored thereby reducing their learning motivation. Therefore researchers want to develop learning media in the form of a pop-up book with the topic of the Earth s Layers. The research was conducted by adopting the ADDIE model. Carried out only up to the implementation stage. The media that has been developed is then tested for validation. Based on the research that has been done the results show that the media developed is categorized as very valid or feasible with an average percentage of 91.131%. Trials were also conducted on seventh-grade students of SMPN 3 Malang. The trial got very interesting results with an average percentage of 95.95%. From the results obtained it can be stated that the learning media of the Earth Layer pop-up book for class VII which was developed is very feasible and interesting to use in the learning process.
