The goal of this study is to determine how important managerial accounting is in Tajikistan s banking sector. Its goal was to establish and spread a managerial accounting system in the banking industry. The research was carried out in the Tajikistan Republic. In order to perform qualitative analysis this report used a case study. Documentation observation and online interviews were used to collect data. Content analysis was used to analyze qualitative results. Managerial accounting is relevant in Tajikistan s banking sector according to the findings. Accounting units particularly in Bank Eskhata and Spitamen Bank have the authority to make decisions and must inform the manager of those decisions. In Bank Eskhata and Spitamen the managerial accounting system has a high rate of responsibility and the accounting department has the responsibility to fix and report problems to the manager in an incident situation. The accounting department particularly for Bank Eskhata and Spitament bank turned out to be a mirror of the company. According to the study the managerial accounting system in the banking sector of Tajikistan is not always strong because they sometimes use the traditional system. They must survive and learn from other international banks in order to see how they can improve their managerial accounting system and make their company more competitive on a global level.
