Abstrak
YouTube is a video-sharing site that is potentially useful for finding language learning resources. This study investigates students rsquo perceptions towards YouTube videos as listening resources. The quantitative research used an online survey consisting of close-ended and open-ended questions to collect data from seventy-one English Language Education (ELE) students from a public university in Indonesia. The findings show that the students have positive attitudes towards YouTube videos as listening resources for improving their listening skills. They discern that YouTube videos are beneficial learning aids in listening activities inside the class and motivate them to do listening activities outside class. YouTube videos also support them in improving their listening skills vocabulary and grammar mastery as well as pronunciation. Besides this study reveals that the students have their preferred Youtube videos and learning strategies for improving their listening skills.
