Developing webtoon as a narrative text reading material for junior high school students / Sefrin Maulana Prasetyo

Abstrak
The research is aimed to develop a product in the form of webtoon which serves as a narrative text reading material for junior high school students. The research was conducted by applying the research and development (R amp D) design. To develop the product of this research the development model designed by Borg and Gall (1983) known as the R amp D cycle was adapted and simplified into five stages research and information collecting product development expert validation main field testing and final product. Based on the research that had been conducted the product developed in this research was considered feasible. Based on the expert validation the product obtained 91 1% feasibility score while in the present research the product achieved 83 5% feasibility score. The final product of this research is a webtoon published on Line WebToon titled lsquo Lazy Roni rsquo . The webtoon can be used by teachers and students freely as a narrative text reading material.
