Influences of slangtowards blitarese youngsters / Puspa Ayu Mega Dirgantara

Abstrak
This study aims to determine the factors and impact of the use slang on youth. Slang is a sociolinguistics phenomenon where the language is created mostly by youngsters to communicate with each other. Some of the examples found within the study are fyp otw bestie and so on. The method applied within this study is qualitative method which involves conducting online interviews with participants. Based on the results of the analysis there are several factors and the impacts of the use of slang. These factors consist of social aspects that are shown through online community daily communication and social circles which can be concluded that the use of slang language is influenced through online and offline or direct communication and social media. The impact of slang is that youngsters use slang more often on the grounds that it rsquo s an effective way to communicate with their friends.
