Using pictorial series to improve writing skills in writing recount text for the 10th graders / Alfi Sabila Rasyad
Abstrak
Writing skills is one of the productive skills that students should learn. Therefore a teaching strategy is needed to help the students in improving their writing skills. The teaching strategy used in this study is using pictorial series. Pictorial series is a set of pictures that tell a chronological events that arranged in unique shape which could be folded. Pictorial series used to help the students in improving their writing skills that are spelling language and vocabulary aspects particularly in writing recount texts. The aim of this study is to solve the students rsquo problem in learning writing. This study was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Leces Probolinggo that involved by 31 students of 10 MIPA 2. The results of this study showed that pictorial series could improve students rsquo writing skills in writing recount texts.
