Abstrak
Mental health is a problem that requires more attention and positive vibe as a support. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and is aimed at proving positive vibe that can bring positive effects on someone who needs it. The film Patch Adams directed by Tom Shadyac is analyzed using Sigmund Freud rsquo s theory. The study reveals that positive vibe can provide a sense of security and tranquillity for people in need. Positive vibe can also prevent bad things that might happen in the future. Aside from that this movie shows that everyone deserves good support from the surrounding like Patch Adams did to his patient in the movie which can lead to better circumstances.
