Developing easy english learning website as mobile learning model to learn speaking skill / Chyntia Wahyu Pratama

Abstrak
This study is intended to create a product in the form of simple website-based learning media to facilitate the students to develop their speaking skills in English. The learning media are used to be a supporting tool in English learning at MAN 1 Lamongan. This study used Borg and Gall rsquo s development model with six steps of modified procedures including (1) research and information collection (2) planning (3) developing (4) design validation (5) design revision and (6) implementation. Product feasibility test was carried out through the product validation and product trials on the research field. Product validation was realized by submitting of questionnaire to the media expert and material expert while product trials were conducted by distribution of user feedback questionnaire to the students. The results showed that the feasibility testing score by the media expert was 88% and the product validation score by the material expert was 87% meaning that the media was feasible to use for English learning activities. Furthermore the user feedback showed that the cumulative percentage was 87 50% which supports the validity of the product. Thus it can be said that the website learning media in this study meet the assessment of valid criteria and is feasible to use as a supporting tool for English learning.
