Students\' perception towards their creativity by using storybird website as a digital platform in writing skill / Shelley Salsabila Nanda Puspita

Abstrak
One of the aspects needed to get success in writing is creativity. This study was aimed at investigating students rsquo perception towards their creativity by using the Storybird website as a digital platform in writing skill. The study employed a descriptive quantitative within a survey design. The instrument of the research used a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements with a 4-point Likert scale. The subject of the research is 188 students of the 10th grade in SMAN 1 Srengat. The results showed that the students had positive responses toward their creativity by using the Storybird website as a digital platform in writing skills. The majority of the respondents agree that Storybird website contributes positively for helping their creativity in writing. Students feel that Storybird helped them be flexible in writing. It also helped students develop their original ideas and imaginations in writing. Storybird could make students more curious to explore ideas in writing. In addition most students agree that their creativity after using Storybird website helped them to make various well-organized sentences while writing increased their vocabulary acquisition for writing and improved their performance in developing ideas to have content with clear topics in writing.
