Abstrak
Abstract The autonomous curriculum is an improvement on the preceding curriculum which was put in place to compensate for learning loss caused by the Covid-19 accident. Via driving schools several schools within the Ministry of Education Culture Research and Technology have developed an autonomous curriculum. The purpose of this research is to assess the preparedness of public elementary schools in Cluster 2 Kedungkandang District Malang City and to report the restrictions and solutions encountered during the implementation process. This study employs a quantitative approach to quantitative descriptive research. Data gathering techniques include observation interviews data collection and tools such as surveys. The findings revealed that 92.5% of Cluster 2 Public Elementary School leaders and teachers were well prepared to embrace the introduction of the Independent Curriculum. In celebration of the adoption of the Independent Curriculum the Cluster 2 Public Elementary School Kedungkandang District principal and teachers participated in Independent Curriculum training activities sponsored by the Education Office under the supervision of the Activist Teacher. They believe that there are several challenges in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum for indications that have not been met namely 26.50%. The concerns expressed by the respondents can be attributed to the insufficient quality of the teacher s human resources. Keywords Independent Curriculum Readiness Implementation Abstrak Kurikulum merdeka merupakan penyempurnaan dari kurikulum sebelumnya yang diberlakukan untuk mengkompensasi kehilangan pembelajaran akibat kecelakaan Covid-19. Melalui sekolah mengemudi beberapa sekolah di lingkungan Kementerian Pendidikan Kebudayaan Riset dan Teknologi telah mengembangkan kurikulum mandiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kesiapan sekolah dasar negeri di Gugus 2 Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang dalam menyambut Kurikulum Merdeka serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan solusi yang dihadapi selama proses implementasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi wawancara pengumpulan data dan alat bantu seperti survei. Berdasarkan temuan 92 5% kepala sekolah dan guru di SDN Gugus 2 cukup siap menyambut pemberlakuan Kurikulum Mandiri. Dalam rangka pengadopsian Kurikulum Mandiri kepala sekolah dan guru SDN Gugus 2 Kecamatan Kedungkandang mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan Kurikulum Mandiri yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Pendidikan di bawah supervisi Guru Aktivis. Mereka menilai ada beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi Kurikulum Mandiri yang indikasinya belum terpenuhi yakni 26 50%. Kekhawatiran yang diungkapkan oleh responden dapat dikaitkan dengan kualitas sumber daya manusia guru yang kurang memadai. Kata kunci Kurikulum Merdeka Kesiapan
