Relation of religious authorities in the family in kasin subdistrict, Malang / Zahratul Ilma Imanniyah
Abstrak
Communities have diverse racial ethnic religious and cultural identities. This heterogeneity is often found in people who live in urban areas. This becomes an obstacle to integration in society because it is a challenge in uniting people with different backgrounds. However the existence of solidarity can be one of the key factors strengthening community integration. This article focuses on how power relations occur in several families in Kasin Village. This research method uses qualitative research data collection is carried out using several techniques namely observation interviews and documentation. The approach in this study uses Michel Foucault s power relations approach. The results of the study state that power relations occur because fathers or mothers who have a dominant role in educating children tend to have power relations with children so that children will follow the religion of one of their parents who is considered closest to them.
