The effect of corruption perception index (cpi) and macroeconomic factors on acquisition of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Asean-5 / Rani Dwiastika Listyani Puteri
Abstrak
FDI can stimulating macro and micro factors especially economic crises. The ASEAN economy is buoyant when there is a global crisis due to FDI. The data used from ASEAN-5 in 2017-2022 with data panel method. The results obtained are Corruption Perspective Index (CPI) has a positive effect on obtaining FDI and the exchange rate has a negative effect on obtaining FDI. In contrast inflation Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and interest rates have no effect in obtaining FDI. This study also found several economic factors including vaccination programs demand for electronic products global mobilization and trade war US China.
