The influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, locus of control, and parental income on financial behavior / Aldi Heriawan

Abstrak
This research aims to determine the influence of financial literacy lifestyle locus of control and parental income on students financial behavior. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with the proportional stratified random sampling method. In this study there were 120 respondents of undergraduate student from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Negeri Malang class of 2019-2022. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The findings in this study explain that financial literacy lifestyle and locus of control have a significant positive effect on student financial behavior. Conversely parental income has no effect on student financial behavior. However simultaneously this study proves that there is a significant effect of financial literacy lifestyle locus of control and parental income on financial behavior.
