Abstrak
Advances in web 2.0 technology have the potential to meet the needs of students in learning English especially speaking skills by increasing opportunities for students inside or outside the classroom. Vlog is one of the integration of technological advances namely Computer-mediated Communication into teaching and students learning English especially speaking skills. Thus both students and lecturers faced challenges in implementing Vlog. This study aims to dig information about students rsquo perceptions of using vlogs for speaking classes based. The researcher investigate the Strengths weaknesses opportunities and threats (SWOT) elements of Vlogs project. The researcher uses qualitative research design specifically Case-study to analyse the use of Vlog. Five students majoring in English language and Education were interviewed to gain in-depth information on vlogs based on their experience. This research finding explains about the use of Vlogs Vlogs stages the strengths of Vlogs the weakness of Vlogs the opportunities of Vlogs and the threats of Vlogs. The current studies implied that the use Vlogs has most benefits rather than disadvantages and studentsreported that the use of vlogs to enhance speaking skills was new and enjoyable
