Analysis of factors affecting poverty levels on java island 2015-2022 / Elentya Noviantika Satwara
Abstrak
The main purpose of development in all nations is to improve the well-being of their citizens. One method of achieving prosperity involves the reduction of poverty. This study seeks to examine the impact of economic growth total population and unemployment rates on poverty levels in the Java Island region from 2015 to 2022 using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) website. Data analysis uses panel data regression using Eviews 12. The research findings reveal that economic growth has no significant effect on poverty on Java Island in 2015-2022. Meanwhile the total population exhibited a significant negative correlation with poverty and unemployment has a significant positive effect on poverty. Furthermore when considered simultaneously economic growth total population and unemployment significantly affect poverty on Java Island.
