The effectiveness of powerpoint slide show pictures in improving vocabulary mastery of seventh graders / Akhmad Fuhaid Zaidan Bariz

Abstrak
This study investigates the effectiveness of using the PowerPoint slide show picture on improving students vocabulary mastery in junior high school. This study used a pre-experiment research design. The research subjects comprised 25 seventh grade students in one of the junior high schools in Sidoarjo. In the data collection process the instrument used by the researcher was VLT 2000-word level. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes after administering the treatments as evidenced by an increase in the average student score from 54.32 to 77.72. Then an increase in the highest score achieved by students from 92 to 100 and an increase in the lowest score achieved by students from 25 to 50. The final results obtained after all student scores were processed using SPSS showed that the PowerPoint slide show picture strategy was quite effective
