Students’ perceptions of using google classroom in learning english / ICHANA SAFIRA DEWI

Abstrak
Abstract This survey study investigates the students perceptions and expectations of using Google Classroom (GC) to learn English which is related to the benefits and issues they confront when using the GC. The data was obtained from an online questionnaire that was distributed to the 9th graders of SMPN 11 Malang. Based on the study results most students welcomed GC as a flexible simple and meaningful learning platform that allows students to study anywhere and at any time. Through this research teachers can discover the students perspectives on the GC. It might assist students in efficiently learning English by their work. This paper also points out some of the challenging problems students faced when using GCs to teach English. Finally it is suggested that future researchers broaden the scope of the study so that the findings can offer more generalizations.
