Empowering spatial intelligence: enhancing student learning with geo-virtual animation / ELOK KINANTI
Abstrak
This research aims to develop virtual animation-based learning media using the web application Spatial Io. This media is designed to visualize the geography process interactively and engagingly build students spatial thinking skills and improve the quality of geography learning. Therefore it is necessary to have a learning medium to provide new learning experiences for students related to geographical phenomena in their surrounding environment. The development of this media is integrated with TPACK to build spatial thinking skills by applying the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) concept. The integration of the implementation of PACK and the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) concept resulted in a product in the form of Geo-Virtual Animation media. This research is a type of research and development (R amp D) that was developed with the ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation and Evaluation) model. Media experts and material experts validate the feasibility of the product. Then Geo-Virtual Animation was tested on students and teachers to see if Geo-Virtual Animation received a good response in the classroom implementation. Trials on teachers and students show that this media is feasible to apply. The observation results also showed that the student response was very good with students more enthusiastic and active in discussing and asking questions. TPACK integration in Geo-Virtual Animation has proven effective in developing students spatial thinking skills. This media is integrated with motion graphics animated videos 3D maps and 360 photos to foster students enthusiasm for learning in spatial exploration.
