Abstrak
The purpose of this study can be used to prove the effect of work stress on employee performance with compensation as a moderating variable at PT Petrokimia Gresik. Data collection by distributing questionnaires to 103 respondents in the Financial Administration Compartment Corporate Secretary Compartment and Human Resources Compartment at PT Petrokimia Gresik. The data obtained is carried out classical assumption test consisting of normality test multicollinearity test heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test and hypothesis testing consisting of regression analysis Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) coefficient of determination test simultaneous regression test and partial regression test. The results showed that there is a significant influence between Job Stress (X) on Employee Performance (Y). The results also show that Compensation (Z) can be a significant moderating variable for the relationship between Job Stress (X) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT Petrokimia Gresik. This research is expected to be a solution to the indication of a significant influence of work stress on employees. In this case it is necessary to consider re-evaluating the division of tasks for each employee thereby reducing the amount of free time at work. And it is necessary to consider changing the layout of the workspace so that employees are more comfortable at work
