Abstrak
The micro and small industry is an industrial subsector consisting of businesses or companies on a smaller scale compared to large companies or corporations. Compared to other regions in Indonesia micro and small industries in North Kalimantan are the lowest. To increase the growth of micro and small industries in North Kalimantan province you can determine the leading and potential sub-sectors in the micro and small industry sub-sectors in North Kalimantan province. Using the Symmetric Location Quotient (SLQ) and Symmetric Dynamic Location Quotient (SDLQ) methods to determine potential base subsectors in North Kalimantan Province. The potential base subsector is the non-metallic minerals subsector metal goods subsector not machinery and equipment and other transportation equipment subsectors. The need for government attention to optimize potential subsectors in North Kalimantan Province.
