The effectiveness of teaching tongue twister using flashcard media on senior high school students\' pronunciation accuracy / Sylvia Qodrun Nada

Abstrak
This one group pretest-posttest design with quantitative approach was conducted due to the low accuracy of the English pronunciation of the students at one of the state Islamic schools at Probolinggo Regency East Java. Interventions using tongue twisters in flashcard media were implemented to improve the student rsquo s pronunciation accuracy. A one-group pretest-posttest design pre-experimental approach was employed to assess the tongue twister rsquo s efficacy with flashcard media. The sample for this research was 17 female second-grade senior high school students. Data analysis took the form of a Paired Sample T Test using SPSS version 26 tools. The results of this study obtained an average pre-test score of 65.52 and an average post-test score of 88.29. The results show a notable distinction between before and after tongue twister treatment using flashcard media. Paired Sample T Test Results show a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.00
