Students’ perceptions and interests in using online english reading resources / Floura Kharisma Putri

Abstrak
In the digital era online reading sources have become an important part of the learning process especially for students of the English Department. This online reading source not only provides many sources of reading material that can be accessed by students but also make it easier for students to carry out learning activities anytime and anywhere. The aim of this research is to explore students perceptions of the use of online English reading resources and their preferred interest . The quantitative descriptive research used in this research uses a closed questionnaire as a data collection tool. The research subjects were 60 English Department students class of 2020 and 2021 who had experience reading using online reading sources. The results of data analysis in this study show that the use and interest in online reading sources has given rise to positive perceptions of students reading in terms of ease of accessing these online reading sources and students interest in choosing the desired online reading sources.
