Analysis of differentiated learning in science learning activities of food chain materials in class V of Sajen State Elementary School 2 / Dwi Irkhamna Camelia
Abstrak
The diversity of student backgrounds often makes uniform teaching strategies less effective. So a strategy is needed in science learning activities that can accommodate student diversity. Science context learning in elementary schools especially food chain material. Accommodation of students learning needs can be used for students deep understanding. Differentiated Learning with an approach that focuses on meeting the needs of diverse students in terms of abilities interests and learning styles. This study aims to analyze differentiated learning in science learning activities on food chain material in grade V. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach with data acquisition through observation interviews with the principal homeroom teachers and students and documentation of activities during the study. Through planning learning devices implementing learning and evaluating learning teachers are able to provide the right learning experience based on students learning needs. Differentiated learning strategies based on the principles of continuous assessment quality curriculum respectful assignments comfortable learning environments and content elements process elements product elements learning environment elements are able to make teachers adjust methods materials and assessments to suit students learning profiles.
