Abstrak
Whereas education in the 21st century emphasizes the importance of critical thinking skills and learning motivation as the main elements in the process. The lack of variety of learning models and media makes it difficult for students to focus not challenged to think critically and less motivated in science learning activities. This phenomenon was found in an elementary school located in a coastal area namely SDN Trajeng 1 Pasuruan City. The existence of this phenomenon requires innovation in learning models and media. The purpose of this study is to describe the differences in critical thinking skills in science learning grade IV SDN Trajeng 1 Pasuruan City before and after the application of Problem Based Learning model assisted by Qreatif media to describe the differences in student motivation in science learning grade IV SDN Trajeng 1 Pasuruan City before and after the application of Problem Based Learning model assisted by Qreatif media and describe the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning model assisted by Qreatif media on critical thinking skills and student motivation in science learning grade IV SDN Trajeng 1 Pasuruan City. The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method of nonequivalent control group design. Based on the results of manova test analysis correlation and research findings there is a very strong relationship between critical thinking skills and student learning motivation showing significance value
