Development of google sites multimedia to improve understanding of concepts and motivation for learning food and digestive system materials / Wardatul Hakimah
Abstrak
This study aims to develop learning media in the form of multimedia based on Google Sites on the material of Food and Digestive System as well as testing its feasibility practicality and effectiveness in improving students concept understanding and learning motivation. The research used the Research and Development (R amp D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze Design Develop Implement Evaluate). The developed media contains interactive content such as videos images structured materials pretest and posttest quizzes and digital E LKPDs that support independent and group learning. The results of material and media expert validation showed a very feasible category (87.74% and 90.22%). Practicality tests by teachers and student user responses also showed the media was very practical (99.10% and 92.07%). The effectiveness of the media was tested through a one group pretest-posttest design which showed an increase in the mean score from 63.28 to 89.62 and an N Gain score of 0.72 (high category). The Paired Sample T-Test test resulted in a Sig. 0.000 ( lt 0.05) which shows a significant increase in concept understanding. On the other hand the results of the learning motivation questionnaire showed an average score of 88.77% (very high category) with the highest indicator on lsquo interesting learning activities rsquo . Thus Google Sites is declared feasible practical and effective to use as a science learning media to improve students concept understanding and learning motivation on the topic of food and the digestive system. This media also supports the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum and digital learning that is interactive and flexible.
