The influence of entrepreneurship education, teacher competence, and entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial interest of DPIP students at SMKN 11 Malang / MUFIDAH AYU DAMAYANTI
Abstrak
This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education teacher competence and entrepreneurial motivation on the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Building Modeling and Information Design Program (DPIB) at SMKN 11 Malang. Entrepreneurial interest is an important aspect of vocational education that prepares graduates to create independent jobs. This study was motivated by the need to identify factors contributing to developing entrepreneurial interest among vocational high school students.The research method used was a quantitative descriptive approach with an ex post facto method involving 83 students from grades X XI and XII of the DPIB program at SMKN 11 Malang selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire with 33 statements using a four-point Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included classical assumption tests multiple regression analysis partial tests (T) simultaneous tests (F) and coefficient of determination tests (R sup2 ).The study results indicate that entrepreneurship education teacher competence and entrepreneurial motivation have a significant positive influence both partially and simultaneously on the entrepreneurial interest of DPIB students at SMKN 11 Malang. Teacher competence has the most dominant influence with a regression coefficient of 0.359 followed by entrepreneurship education (0.205) and entrepreneurial motivation (0.196). The three independent variables could explain 86.8% of the variation in students entrepreneurial interest as reflected in the Adjusted R Square value. At the same time factors outside the scope of this study influenced 13.2%.
