Abstrak
In the midst of weak critical thinking skills and declining student interest in learning the application of problem-based learning models assisted by nearpods is an innovative solution to overcome these problems. This study aims to implement a problem-based learning model assisted by nearpod on the material of office technology equipment and applications by measuring teacher activities and student activities as well as critical thinking skills and student interest in learning. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with two cycles involving planning implementation observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were class X students of SMK Terpadu Al-Ishlahiyah Singosari totaling 39 students. The results showed that after implementing the problem-based learning model assisted by nearpod there was an increase in students critical thinking in analyzing and solving problems as well as an increase in learning interest measured through teacher and student activities. Thus the application of the PBL model assisted by Nearpod is effective in increasing Critical Thinking and student interest in learning.
