Abstrak
The use of learning models with the help of technology for elementary school students can facilitate the implementation process. Developers of learning models especially teachers and prospective teachers must always choose learning models that are in accordance with the characteristics learning objectives and materials to be taught in schools. The use of good and effective learning models can help contribute positively to student learning outcomes because they will be introduced to other learning models that are different from the usual. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of mind mapping learning models assisted by the X-Mind digital application on the learning outcomes of science subjects on the subject of recognizing animals around us for grade III elementary school students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis technique used the paired sample t-test with a significance level 0.05. Based on the results of the study it is known that there is a difference in the average value of the pre-test and post-test between the experimental class and the control class. In the pre-test the experimental class got an average value of 36.741 and the control class got a value of 38.346. While in the post-test the experimental class got a value of 77.815 and the control class got a value of 64.731. The results of the study obtained in the t-test the significance value obtained was 0.8. From these results it is known that the mind mapping model assisted by the X-Mind digital application is effective in improving the learning outcomes of grade III Elementary School students.
