Pengembangan media karuta Al-Arabiyah untuk penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas vii MTSN 1 Kota Malang / Zammira Safrina Aisyah

Abstrak
Arabic is a language with rich of vocabulary. Vocabulary mastery is the main thing because the level of a person s language depends on the quality and quantity of vocabulary they master. The problem with vocabulary learning are the methods and media used by Arabic teachers are less varied the effect is students not being enthusiastic and not being able to master the Arabic vocabulary properly. This research developed Karuta Al-Arabiyah as an alternative media for learning Arabic vocabulary. The research aims to explain the media development planning media feasibility and media effectiveness of Karuta Al-Arabiyah. The target of the research trial was the seventh grade students of MTsN 1 Kota Malang. This development uses the Research and Development (R amp D) method with the ADDIE model with five steps which include analysis design development implementation evaluation. Data collection was done through observation questionnaires tests and documentation. The feasibility of the media was declared ldquo very valid rdquo from a percentage of 82.6% (media validation) and 92% (material validation) and received a ldquo very good response rdquo of 88% (teacher response) and 98% (student response) The effectiveness of the media is known from the completeness of student learning outcomes reached 71.8% with an increase of 0.64 or 64% based on the average pretest and posttest scores which showed a normalized N-Gain of 0.30 lt g lt 0.70 with an interpretation of ldquo moderate rdquo improvement. This shows that Karuta Al-Arabiyah is considered feasible and effective to be used as a learning media for seventh grade students to master Arabic vocabulary.
