Matforka: mobile learning application on integers to support math cognitive skills of students with dyscalculia / Koko Santoso
Abstrak
This article presents research on the development of valid practical and effective learning applications and focuses on strengthening pre-mathematics skills to improve cognitive abilities and support mathematical understanding of dyscalculia students on basic operations of whole numbers. Discalculia students basically have a normal IQ but have difficulty in understanding math material so that the right media and learning are needed to help their understanding. MATFORKA comes as an offer of solutions that can help dyscalculia students to understand basic integer operations material. The process of developing this application uses the R amp D (Research and Development) method and the ADDIE development model to analyze and evaluate the application that has been developed. In its implementation this research provides results that the MATFORKA application that has been developed can be said to be valid and practical for dyscalculia students to use in learning basic integer operations according to the assessment of expert validators. In addition the effectiveness value of the application is 87.5% from the results of the evaluation test that students do after using the application. These results show that seven out of eight students were successfully completed with scores above the standard set by the teacher.
