The effect of elderly exercise on heart rate: observational study in bareng district, east java, indonesia / Rury Hidayat

Abstrak
This observational study investigates the impact of elderly exercise on heart rate among a group of elderly women in Bareng Malang City. Fifteen participants aged 60 to 65 engaged in a structured exercise program over two sessions. Heart rate measurements were taken before and after each session to assess the immediate cardiovascular effects of physical activity. Results indicated a significant increase in heart rate post-exercise with an average rise from 55.07 beats per minute (bpm) before exercise to 73.67 bpm after exercise across both sessions. These findings highlight the effectiveness of elderly exercise programs in stimulating cardiovascular function promoting heart health and potent moodially reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases among aging populations. The data support the incorporation of regular physical activity into elderly care routines to maintain heart health and overall well-being. This study underscores the importance of community-based exercise programs for elderly individuals and suggests further research into long-term cardiovascular outcomes.
