The data collected was obtained through the analysis of a written composition. The data sources for this study include written compositions from the Final Semester Examination (UAS) of intermediate-level BIPA students which were conducted in December 2024. The results of the study show the use of both coordinating and subordinating conjunctions in the written compositions of the intermediate-level BIPA students. The study found the use of coordinating conjunctions which include markers of addition choice contrast correction emphasis restriction sequence equivalence and conclusion. Additionally the study identified the use of subordinating conjunctions which include markers of cause condition purpose concession time consequence and comparison. Based on the findings and discussion it can be concluded that intermediate-level BIPA students have mastered the knowledge of both subordinating and coordinating conjunction forms.
