Development of mathspace learning media to increase students’ interest in learning similarity material / Sefira Laila Nur Azizah
Abstrak
This study aims to describe the results of developing a website-based learning media on the topic of similarity to foster students learning interest. The research method employed was Research and Development (R amp D) using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages Analysis Design Development Implementation and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 23 seventh-grade students from a private junior high school in Malang City. The learning media was validated by a lecturer from Universitas Negeri Malang. The instruments used included a validation sheet test questions a practicality questionnaire and a learning interest questionnaire. The results showed that the MathSpace learning media was valid with an average media validity score of 3.8 and material validity of 3.4. The practicality questionnaire results indicated that MathSpace is practical for use in learning with an average score of 3.2. Based on the student interest questionnaire 65.22% of students gave a positive response (interested) in learning using MathSpace while 34.78% gave a very positive response (very interested). Thus this learning media is considered valid practical and effective in enhancing students learning interest.
