Abstrak
The decline in manners is becoming an increasingly worrying problem that affects student development so if it is not addressed immediately it will affect their future lives. This development research aims to produce a product in the form of a sociodrama guidebook containing the values of Serat Sasana Sunu to improve students acceptable manners based on expert and prospective user testing of the product. The research method employs the Borg and Gall development model up to the fifth stage based on research needs. The results indicate that the guidebook received a score of 3.2 from subject matter experts indicating it is suitable 3.58 from media experts indicating it is highly suitable and 3.98 from potential users indicating it is highly suitable. Based on these evaluations it is concluded that the guidebook is highly suitable for use (average score 3.58). This development research contributes to adding service materials in line with student needs and serves as an innovative service alternative by integrating local culture. This development research has limitations as it was only conducted up to the initial testing phase and product revision. Recommendations for future researchers include conducting an effectiveness test of this guidebook.
