Final project Applied Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology Study Program Faculty of Vocational State University of Malang. Supervisor Ir. Didin Zakariya Lubis S.Pd. M.Eng. Akar Mandiri has machine limitations in the production of cylindrical tanks and seat base frame pipes thus hindering production efficiency and effectiveness. These problems gave rise to ideas and proposals for researchers in the form of designing and building semi-automatic plate and pipe roller machines to improve production efficiency and effectiveness in CV. Akar Mandiri Sidoarjo East Java. This research aims to obtain and obtain designs analytical calculations manufacturing processes and planning for continuous maintenance. The method used in this study is an experimental research and development method that involves the design and assembly stages. The design of the semi-automatic plate and pipe roller machine based on analytical calculations and material availability resulted in a design measuring 883.87 mm x 470 mm x 994 mm using Autodesk Inventor CAD software. The calculations include a maximum roller torque of 0.kN.m a planned power of 0.245 kW a straight gear transmission with a 3 mm module and a scale of 1 1 1 as well as a shaft with a torque of kg.mm and a minimum diameter of empty mm. This engine uses six bearings with a lifespan of up to hours and is driven by an electric motor with a power of 0.16 ndash 0.19 hp. Maintenance is carried out regularly and correctively through checking lubrication cleaning and repairing damaged components.
