Increasing Critical Thinking and Learning Outcomes of Students Through Interactive Digital Whiteboard media assisted by miro / Vicky Ade Firmansyah
Abstrak
Technological developments provide opportunities for the world of education to continuously innovate in the use of learning media to improve the quality of learning. One example is the use of the Miro platform as an Interactive Digital Whiteboard-based learning medium. This study aims to develop educational media assess its feasibility and response through expert validation by subject matter experts media experts and small group feedback as well as to determine the differences in Critical Thinking and cognitive learning outcomes of Grade X MPLB students at SMK Cendika Bangsa Kepanjen in the Economics and Business elements. This study employs a research and development method using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages analyze design development implementation and evaluation. Data collection in this study was conducted through interviews observations expert validation questionnaires small group response questionnaires and large group exercise evaluations with the test subjects comprising a small group of 6 students and a large group of two classes totaling 22 and 23 students with data analysis using normality tests and independent sample t-tests to compare the results of the control and experimental classes. The results of the study indicate that this research produced learning media with criteria values deemed highly suitable for implementation in learning and based on the results of data analysis there was a significant difference between the Critical Thinking assessment results and cognitive learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class. Therefore it can be concluded that the use of Interactive Digital Whiteboard-based learning media significantly improves students Critical Thinking and cognitive learning outcomes through active participation in the learning process which facilitates a deeper understanding of the material. This study provides an update on previous research through results stating that the use of Interactive Digital Whiteboard media can also improve students Critical Thinking.
