Abstrak
In SDN 1 Betak and SDN 1 Bulusari in Tulungagung a significant issue has been identified the students low ability to solve problems related to KPK and FPB material. Many students struggle to comprehend the problems outline the necessary steps for solutions and differentiate between KPK and FPB challenges. This research seeks to determine how the Dakon Math media integrated with Polya s theory can be applied in teaching KPK and FPB in mathematics as well as to assess its impact on enhancing students problem-solving skills. This quantitative study employs a non-equivalent control group design and quasi-experimental methodology. All of the fifth graders from SDN 1 Betak and SDN 1 Bulusari participated in the study 19 kids from the experimental class and 22 students from the control class made up the sample. Pre- and post-tests made up the study instrument. The use of Dakon Math media had a substantial impact on students problem-solving abilities as indicated by the Independent Sample T-Test findings of 0.026 ( lt 0.05). The experimental class has a high average N-Gain Score of 0.76. Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of Dakon Math media integrated with Polya s theory is effective in improving students problem-solving skills on KPK and FPB material in grade V SD.
