The effect of academic procrastination on the learning outcomes of grade vi students at SDN Cluster i Kebonagung district / Dwi Yoga Wiranta
Abstrak
Academic procrastination is a form of behavioral delay in completing academic tasks by doing other activities that are not related and do not contribute to academic achievement even though the delay can actually be avoided. This study aims to determine the effect of academic procrastination on the learning outcomes of grade VI students at SDN Gugus 1 Kebonagung District. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The sample in this study were grade VI students of SDN Gugus I Kebonagung District as many as 51 people. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the research data it shows that t count 2.236 gt t table 1.676 which means that because t count gt t table Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted it can be concluded that the academic procrastination variable (X) is proven to have an influence on the learning outcome variable (Y). In accordance with these results the purpose of this study has been achieved where the results of this study have a negative influence between academic procrastination (X) on student learning outcomes (Y) of grade VI SDN Gugus 1 Kebonagung District which is 9.2% which is on the interpretation of ldquo Low but certain rdquo .
