The use of the podcast learngermanwithfalk for speaking skill practice among German language education students at Malang State University / Alifia Nur Syafida

Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to describe the use of the Learngermanwithfalk podcast for speaking practice by German Language Education students at Malang State University. Previous studies such as those conducted by Farhan (2022) Lutfa et al. (2024) and Anita et al. (2022) indicate that podcasts can enhance oral language proficiency. The approach used is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected from observation sheets and questionnaires administered to 13 students in the German Language Education program. The results of the study indicate that the podcast helps students understand communicative expressions and proper pronunciation although some still struggle to maintain concentration while listening to the podcast. Overall this study found that the Learngermanwithfalk podcast can assist students in developing their German speaking skills by engaging listening skills to comprehend the podcast content.
