Development of educational media magnofun numbers tangram to stimulate the ability to recognize the concept of numbers for children aged 4-5 years / Putri Divania Rizka

Abstrak
The low ability of children to understand the concept of numbers is due to the limitations of the learning media used in PAUD institutions. This research aims to develop educational media Magnofun Numbers Tangram as a means to stimulate the ability to recognize the concept of numbers for children aged 4 ndash 5 years. Research using the Research and Development (R amp D) method is a research method used to produce a product and can test the effectiveness of a product (Sumiati amp Nafitupulu 2022) with ADDIE s development model (Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation). This media consists of magnetic folding boards magnetic tangrams numeric tangram illustrations and two types of flashcards that are designed in an attractive and interactive way. Validation was carried out by media experts material experts and users accompanied by small and large group trials of 37 children at three PAUD institutions in Malang City. The validation results show that the media meets the criteria of being very feasible with a feasibility rate above 90%. This media is able to improve children s understanding of number symbols the order of numbers the relationship between numbers and the number of objects as well as the ability to compare numbers. Thus Magnofun Numbers Tangram Effectively used as a learning medium to introduce the concept of numbers in early childhood in a fun and meaningful way.
