Playfull creative alphabet board media as learning tool to stimulate the language of children aged 4-5 years / Setyaning Wiwik R

Abstrak
Early childhood is in a golden age of language development that is very important to stimulate through fun and meaningful learning. One aspect that supports this development is learning media that can attract children s attention and encourage active involvement in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to develop a Playfull Creative Alphabet Board learning media in the form of flash cards that are feasible and effective for stimulating the language skills of children aged 4-5 years. This media is designed to be educational and creative equipped with letters A-Z pictures of animals and fruits and educational game activities such as learning syllables arranging letters guessing words and arranging letters using creative aids such as buttons and pom-poms. This research and development uses the Research and Development (R amp D) method with the ADDIE development model which includes five stages analysis design development implementation and evaluation. The trial stage involved three kindergartens namely Muslimat NU 16 Kindergarten Bina Putra Kindergarten and Budidoyo Kindergarten. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative data in the form of suggestions or comments and quantitative data from the calculation of the percentage of the questionnaire that has been filled out by experts and users. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from media experts on aspects of media characteristics media quality and media criteria reached very valid criteria. The results of data obtained from material experts on aspects of language and media display aspects reached valid criteria. In the trial of three Kindergartens group A the product reached very feasible criteria from the overall aspect. The hope of the Playfull Creative Alphabet Board media can help children get used to expressing ideas and understanding instructions orally and in writing as well as being a fun and useful learning tool in improving the language skills of early childhood children.
