Development of the web-based educational game ‘nana varna’ to enchane color recognition in children aged 4-5 years / Erlita Rosa Oktaviyanti
Abstrak
Cognitive development is a very important aspect that influences the stages of subsequent developmental aspects. For children to develop their thinking abilities problem-solving skills and logical skills in their future growth cognitive development becomes crucial. The ability to recognize colors is part of cognitive abilities because colors can stimulate the brain and activate the sense of sight. The purpose of this research and development is to produce a color-mixing website game media called Nana Varna which can enhance cognitive abilities in recognizing and mixing colors in accordance with the cognitive development aspects of children. Development and research using the research and development method with the ADDIE method which can be broken down into 5 stages. The small group trial involved 10 children. The large group trial involved 30 children. This research uses data analysis techniques in the form of quantitative data to determine the scores filled out by learning practitioners and qualitative data obtained through suggestions and comments. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from subject matter experts it has reached the very valid criteria. The results obtained from subject matter experts also achieved the very valid criteria. The small group trial received a feasible rating leading to an improved very feasible rating in the large group trial. This game media is expected to become a beneficial learning resource.
