Development of learning media assisted by sensor detection of buffer solution based on stem approach to improve critical thinking of senior high school students / Shoim Hadi Muhayad
Abstrak
The critical thinking ability of high school students is still low so media is needed that helps the learning process significantly. This study aims to develop learning media for buffer solution detection sensors based on the STEM approach and used to improve students critical thinking skills. This research uses the R amp D method with the ADDIE research design. The instruments used in data collection include a needs analysis questionnaire media validation response questionnaire and critical thinking test instrument. This research produced a product in the form of a buffer solution detection sensor based on the STEM approach. This buffer solution detection sensor is used as a learning media in the practicum activity of determining buffer solution. The results of STEM-based media validation were declared very feasible and valid for use in learning with a percentage of 93.33% and a score of 0.92 with Aiken s V test. The results showed that the learning media based on the STEM approach had a significant difference in improving students critical thinking skills and was declared quite effective in learning chemistry using detection sensor media.
