The role of digital natives facing disruptive transformation in education in the era of society 5.0 (analysis of um economics education undergraduate students class of 2022) / Ashrifa Lailatun Janah
Abstrak
This study aims to analyze the role of students as digital natives in facing disruptive transformations in education in the society 5.0 era focusing on undergraduate students of Economics Education State University of Malang Class of 2022. The method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach the sample was selected by snowball sampling involving five informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that advanced technology is integrated into the world of education resulting in technology-oriented learning. Digital native students have high digital literacy. They actively seek information through various platforms think critically in selecting learning resources quickly adapt to technology and use AI tools to improve learning efficiency. With the opportunities provided such as access to flexible learning resources personalized learning readiness for the world of work and others the challenges of educational transformation must also be considered. The main challenge of this technology integration is that students become dependent on technology in learning. Therefore the optimal role of students as digital natives is needed to strengthen learning independence and balance the use of technology.
