Development of \"mathup!\" gamification-based learning media to support students\' mathematical understanding skills on solid shapes with flat surfaces / Velyra Putri Fitra Azahra
Abstrak
This research was encoraged by students difficulties of understanding on solid shapes with flat surfaces and the limitations of media. The purpose of this research was to develop gamification-based learning media to support students mathematical understanding skills. This research used the R amp D method with the ADDIE development model. Observation result during the analysis stage indicate the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in school. Next at the design stage media components and gamification elements were designed. At the development stage the media design and gamification elements were developed into a product called MathUp . Next at the implementation stage MathUp and gamification elements were implemented and acquired an effectiveness percentage of 89 28%. The evaluation stage was carried out by reviewing the use of MathUp and gamification elements through the response questionnaire with a score of 97 76% from students and 90 79% from teacher. Based on this MathUp and gamification are able to increase motivation engagement and mathematical understanding which are indicate by improved student learning outcomes.
