Abstrak
This study aims to determine the learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the PBL model assisted by educational games and to test the extent to which the implementation of the PBL model supported by educational games in class V of SDN Lesanpuro 4 Malang City brings a significant impact on student learning outcomes on the topic of animal food chains. The type of research applied in this study is a quasi-experimental with the research object covering all 55 students of class VA and VB SDN Lesanpuro 4. The sample taken includes class VA as an experimental group consisting of 13 male students and 15 female students and class VB as a control group consisting of 13 male students and 14 female students. The data collection tool used is an objective test in multiple choice format. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics as well as paired sample t-test hypothesis testing and Cohen s d estimate effect size test. Based on the results of data processing with a significance level of 0.05 a significance value of 0.000 was obtained which indicates that the Sig. value. (2-Sided p) is smaller than alpha (0.05) then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus it can be proven that the problem based learning model has a significant influence on students learning outcomes on the food chain material.
