Development of krusean card learning media in introducing marine crustacean biodiversity to support students’ environmental literacy / Yuanda Purnamasari

Abstrak
Environmental issues are one of the biggest challenges faced in the 4.0 industrial revolution so learning about environmental protection is necessary one of which is through environmental literacy. The purpose of this study is to develop a suitable practical and effective ldquo KRUSEAN rdquo card learning media to support students environmental literacy in recognizing marine crustacean biodiversity. The method used is the ADDIE model which includes analysis design development implementation and evaluation. The card media is adapted from the Uno game supplemented with information on marine crustacean species and action cards. The results obtained from media validation by expert media and content validators indicate very high feasibility at 94% while practicality testing by teachers and students yielded scores of 99% and 82% respectively. The effectiveness of the media was measured through a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 56 seventh-grade students with an N-Gain test result of 0.45 (moderate). Therefore the ldquo KRUSEAN rdquo card media is feasible practical and effective for supporting students environmental literacy on the topic of marine crustacean biodiversity.
