Voice media development(vocabulary optimization interactive card english) : QR audio based flashcard in english language learning in children aged 5-6 years / Lorencia Giorgina Irene Behn
Abstrak
This study aims to produce a feasible VOICE learning media product for English learning for children aged 5-6 years. VOICE stands for Vocabulary Optimization Interactive Card English. This media is an interactive card that combines visual auditory and motoric elements to introduce and optimize English vocabulary by combining QR Code technology with audio created by AI which contains images of objects around the child. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model approach. This study involved media experts material experts and user experts as media validators. Implementation was carried out through 2 stages namely a small trial consisting of 5 children and a large trial with 15 children. Based on the results of the validation that had been carried out two media experts gave an assessment with an average score of 95.7% two material experts gave an assessment with an average score of 95.6% and two user experts gave an average score of 99.28%. The results of the small group trial with 5 children got an average score of 100% while the large group trial got an average score of 97.5%. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that VOICE learning media is suitable for use in introducing and optimizing English vocabulary in children aged 5-6 years.
