Permainan role playing untuk anak usia dini di TK ABA 01 kota Batu/ Chosiah

Abstrak
The lack of self-confidence character in early childhood can negatively impact their future development. The purpose of this study is to examine how roleplaying games can help foster self-confidence in young children through engaging and enjoyable methods. The focus of this research includes (1) the implementation of roleplaying games at TK ABA 01 Kota Batu (2) the implementation of self-confidence character education at TK ABA 01 Kota Batu and (3) the impact of applying roleplaying games in instilling self-confidence character A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through observation interviews and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model involving data reduction data display and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through triangulation of sources techniques and time. The findings of this study indicate that roleplaying games when carefully designed and systematically implemented at TK ABA 01 Kota Batu are effective in fostering self-confidence in early childhood students. The learning activities were planned by adapting themes and teaching aids as well as involving teachers and parents in the preparation process. During implementation children demonstrated positive behavioral changes such as increased willingness to perform in front of the class the ability to express their opinions and active interaction with peers. The main supporting factors for the success of this method were the creativity and involvement of teachers parental support and a conducive school environment. Nevertheless challenges were encountered including limited teaching aids and varying levels of children s confidence. To address these challenges strategies such as empowering teachers and parents selecting accessible teaching aids and providing continuous motivation were employed. Overall roleplaying games proved to be an effective alternative learning method for fostering self-confidence as well as strengthening communication empathy and independence among early childhood students at TK ABA 01 Kota Batu.
