Abstrak

Keywords Reading Degree Quality Reading Books Students Reading Interest This research is motivated by the rapid development of technology that has changed students reading patterns where many of them are more interested in digital media such as smartphones compared to printed books. A good reading culture is one of the main factors in improving students insight critical thinking skills and academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to describe in depth the implementation of the reading degree program and also the evaluation of the reading degree program. This study uses a qualitative approach in the case study method conducted at SDN Lowokwaru 1 Malang. The research subjects consisted of 1 reading degree facilitator and 1 accompanying teacher. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that this program is divided into several main stages that are interconnected namely discussion and coordination planning and preparation implementation of activities and mentoring. The evaluation of this reading degree program is carried out in several ways namely collecting impressions and observing child development adjusting to the initial objectives and feedback from students and teachers. Overall this study shows that Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Reading Degree Program is implemented through structured and mutually supportive stages. This shows that the program is designed and evaluated regularly to ensure its effectiveness in increasing students reading interest.
